1. 简介
欢迎使用口袋快译（Koudaikuaiyi）。我们重视您的隐私与数据安全。本政策说明我们收集哪些信息、如何使用、与谁共享，以及您可以如何管理这些信息。
2. 在您设备上处理、不会上传的数据
- 语音与录音：语音识别完全在您的设备上完成，音频不会上传到我们或任何第三方。录音和识别文字保存在您的设备上，您可以在 App 内随时删除。
- 离线翻译与朗读：离线翻译使用 Google ML Kit 在设备上完成，朗读使用系统自带的语音合成，被翻译的文字不会上传。首次使用某种语言时，ML Kit 会从 Google 服务器下载翻译模型，并可能向 Google 发送关于该功能运行情况的统计数据（不包含您翻译的内容），详见 ML Kit 条款。
- 高级离线翻译：会员可选的「高级离线翻译」使用 Apple 系统自带的翻译功能在设备上完成，被翻译的文字不会上传。首次使用某种语言时，系统会询问是否下载语言包；您同意后，由系统从 Apple 服务器下载，详见 Apple 隐私政策。
3. 我们收集的信息
- 设备 ID：App 为每台设备生成一个随机 ID，用于识别会员身份和统计使用情况，不需要注册账号。
- 购买信息：订阅时，App 会把 Apple 购买收据和交易号发送到我们的服务器，用于验证和恢复会员。我们拿不到您的付款信息。
- 地区与语言设置：系统地区、首选语言和时区，用于选择服务器和默认设置。
- 使用统计：我们使用 PostHog（PostHog Inc. 提供的云服务）统计功能使用情况、性能和崩溃，包括设备 ID、设备型号、系统版本、App 版本、使用了哪些功能，以及由 IP 地址推算的大致国家/地区。统计数据不包含您的录音、识别文字或翻译内容。
4. AI 翻译与第三方 AI 服务
「AI翻译」是可选功能：会员可以一直使用，非会员可以免费体验 10 分钟。新安装的 App 默认选中「AI翻译」，但在您同意之前不会发送任何内容。首次使用「AI翻译」前，或首次在 App 内开通会员前，App 会向您说明以下内容并征得您的同意；不同意则使用「离线翻译」。开启后：
- 要翻译的文字（当前句子的识别结果，以及作为上下文的前几句原文和译文）和目标语言，会经由我们的中转服务器发送给第三方 AI 服务，由其 AI 模型完成翻译。iPhone 和 iPad 上用哪家服务取决于设备的时区，App 会先说明是哪家并分别征得您的同意；Mac 版一律使用 OpenAI：
- 中国时区：火山引擎（北京火山引擎科技有限公司的火山方舟平台），在中国境内处理数据，按其隐私政策及服务条款处理。
- 其他时区，以及 Mac 版：OpenAI（OpenAI OpCo, LLC），在美国处理数据，按其隐私政策及服务条款处理。
- 不会向这些 AI 服务发送音频、设备 ID、姓名、邮箱、通讯录或位置。我们的中转服务器只转发请求，不保存翻译内容。
- 您可以随时在 App 主页的翻译方式中改回「离线翻译」，之后文字将不再发送给第三方 AI 服务。
5. 信息的使用
- 提供翻译、会员等服务；
- 验证和恢复订阅；
- 分析使用情况，改进产品体验和稳定性；
- 遵守适用的法律法规。
6. 信息共享
我们不会出售、出租或交易您的个人信息。除第 2–4 条所述的服务提供方（Apple、Google、PostHog、火山引擎、OpenAI）外，我们仅在以下情况共享信息：
- 遵守法律要求或回应法律程序；
- 保护我们的权利、财产或安全，包括防范欺诈和安全威胁。
第 2–4 条所述的服务提供方（包括火山引擎和 OpenAI）对您数据提供的保护与本政策相同或同等。
7. 保存与删除
设备 ID 和订阅记录会在提供会员服务所需的期间内保存。删除 App 会删除设备上的录音和设置。如需删除我们服务器上与您设备相关的数据，请通过下方邮箱联系我们，我们会在核实后删除。
8. 安全措施
App 与我们服务器之间的通信经过加密。我们采取合理的技术和管理措施，防止您的信息被未经授权地访问、使用或披露。
9. 政策更新
我们可能会不时更新本政策，更新后会在本页面公布并修改生效日期。

Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
Welcome to Koudaikuaiyi (口袋快译). We care about your privacy and data security. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and how you can manage it.
2. Data processed on your device and never uploaded
- Speech and recordings: Speech recognition runs entirely on your device. Audio is never uploaded to us or any third party. Recordings and transcripts are stored on your device, and you can delete them in the app at any time.
- Offline translation and read-aloud: Offline translation runs on your device using Google ML Kit, and read-aloud uses the system speech synthesizer, so the text you translate is not uploaded. The first time a language is used, ML Kit downloads its translation model from Google's servers and may send Google statistics about how the feature performs (not the content you translate); see the ML Kit terms.
- Advanced Offline Translation: Advanced Offline Translation, available to members, uses Apple's built-in translation and runs on your device, so the text you translate is not uploaded. The first time a language is used, the system asks whether to download its language pack; if you agree, the system downloads it from Apple's servers; see Apple's Privacy Policy.
3. Information we collect
- Device ID: The app generates a random ID for each device to identify your membership and for usage analytics. No account registration is required.
- Purchase information: When you subscribe, the app sends the Apple purchase receipt and transaction ID to our server to verify and restore your membership. We never receive your payment details.
- Region and language settings: Your system region, preferred language and time zone, used to choose a server and default settings.
- Usage analytics: We use PostHog (a cloud service provided by PostHog Inc.) to understand feature usage, performance and crashes. This includes your device ID, device model, OS version, app version, which features are used, and an approximate country/region derived from the IP address. Analytics never include your recordings, transcripts or translations.
4. AI Translation and third-party AI services
AI Translation is optional: members can use it at any time, and non-members can try it free for 10 minutes. A new install has AI Translation preselected, but nothing is sent until you agree. Before you first use AI Translation, or first subscribe in the app, the app explains the following and asks for your consent; if you decline, Offline Translation is used. When it is on:
- The text to be translated (the recognized text of the current sentence, plus a few preceding sentences and their translations as context) and the target language are sent through our relay server to a third-party AI service, whose AI models produce the translation. On iPhone and iPad, which service is used depends on your device's time zone, and the app tells you which one and asks for your consent to each; the Mac app always uses OpenAI:
- China time zone: Volcano Engine (the Volcano Ark platform of Beijing Volcano Engine Technology Co., Ltd.), which processes this data in the People's Republic of China under its Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- Other time zones, and the Mac app: OpenAI (OpenAI OpCo, LLC), which processes this data in the United States under its Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- No audio, device ID, name, email, contacts or location is sent to these AI services. Our relay server only forwards the request and does not store the translated content.
- You can switch back to Offline Translation at any time from the translation menu on the app's main screen. After that, no text is sent to any third-party AI service.
5. How we use information
- To provide translation, membership and related services;
- To verify and restore subscriptions;
- To analyze usage and improve the app's experience and stability;
- To comply with applicable laws and regulations.
6. Sharing of information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. Apart from the service providers described in sections 2–4 (Apple, Google, PostHog, Volcano Engine and OpenAI), we share information only:
- To comply with legal requirements or respond to legal processes;
- To protect our rights, property or safety, including preventing fraud and addressing security threats.
The service providers described in sections 2–4, including Volcano Engine and OpenAI, provide the same or equal protection of your data as stated in this policy.
7. Retention and deletion
Device IDs and subscription records are kept for as long as needed to provide the membership service. Deleting the app removes the recordings and settings on your device. To delete the data on our servers associated with your device, contact us at the email below and we will delete it after verification.
8. Security
Communication between the app and our servers is encrypted. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
